Meeting the ex-wife…

October 7th, 2006 by binglogan

Wow…it’s been a long time and I missed these blog things.  At least when I am sitting here doing nothing , I can get to my PC and write my heart out hehehe.  Anyway, we don’t have any internet connection from the place where we transferred and that’s the reason for my long absence.  Now we are back in Davao and Thanks God we are now connected to the cyber world haha..Well I got some stuff that I am working right now to kill time while waiting for our long planned travel to Singapore.  Right now we are just waiting for the confirmation from the travel agent.  I am doing my cross stitching and for the past month I have done three designs already due for framing.  My next project would be a real big design for a bride and a groom which is titled "The Wedding".  I am really hoping I could finish it in five months coz it is really a big one about 1.5 x 1 meter.  I am giving it to my husband’s son’s wedding as a gift and guess what guys…I am too excited to go to Scotland where the wedding is to be held.  Imagine living in a castle? I will feel like a princess hahaha.  The son will rent a castle for two days for friends and relatives who are attending the wedding.  I am a bit edgy though coz I will meet the ex wife.  Hey, can you tell me your inputs what you will feel if you meet the ex wife?  Let’s do this….

Busy Month…

March 19th, 2006 by binglogan

Hi guys…I’m back here. This month was rather busy for me. My husband was admitted at St. Lukes for a nose bleed early March.  I was a bit nervous coz he is hypertensive and I am so scared that it might be because of some ruptured arteries somewhere.  I was relieve when the endoscopy result came out and it’s just a plain nose bleed caused by his cold and dry cough.  Some nasal veins ruptured when he sneezed and it has nothing to do with his blood pressure.  Then my grand daughte graduated last March 17 and she got an award for possessing a cheerful disposition.  I was expecting for academic award coz she really was doing well in shcool.  But it was explained to us by the school administrator that they don’t give academic awards to preparatory school because parents tend to push their child to study.  They said prep school should be learning while playing.  Anyway, she is also a transferee and entered the International School on its trimester.  Then March 19 was our anniversary when we my husband and I first met. We just have breakfast in bed courtesy of our helper hehehehe. We sit at home and recall our first meeting hehehehe.  Today, it’s my birthday and I am happy coz I got a lot of greetings both from my emails, cellphone and here.  I am a year older now but becoming a woman in its true sense hahahahaha….At least I can’t ask for more.  Anyway, no big party for an old woman like me hehehehe.  On wednesday, it’s my grand daughters birthday and we plan to go out swimming at Water Camp.  Will keep you updated guys….

Thank you guys for remembering me on my birthday.

Valentine Date with My Honey…

February 15th, 2006 by binglogan

Just arrived from our escapade on Valentine’s day.  We spend one night in a hotel up in Manila in order to enjoy the evening.  I made a reservation online for one night stay at Palm Plaza Hotel.  Checked in the hotel and rest for a while while drfessing up for the evening.  My husband is dying to find a real good American restaurant so we went to Outback Steak House in Glorietta Makati.  While on our way there, my husband out of his being a gentleman, ask the driver to slow down and bought a rose from a street vendor…. hehehehe…. to give to his asawa ..that’s me :-) (Isn’t he sweet?)

We reach the restaurant just on time before the crowd started to pour in.  We were able to get a nice corner and ordered porterhouse and prime minister steak plus all the entree’s which I thought was a big meal for me.  But my husband insist of me getting those things.  He just want me to experience real fine dining hehehehehe….

Liten to this…when I asked for the bill, I almost fall from my seat hehehehe….gosh…it’s real expensive…..Sayangan ko sa money…however my husband just want to give me the best coz according to him I am worth it…ano laban ka? hehehehe….Mura kog gibayaw sa heaven hehehehe….I love and adore him so much.  Inggit kayo ano :-)…..

Anyway, we ended up sneaking in the kitchen area of the restaurant to get to glorietta mall hoping to find some book sale…..the pretty food server escorted us.  We usually find time to hunt for books on sale whenever we go out.  That is part of our itinerary already.  Anyway, we didn’t find any good stuff so we went back to the hotel and sleep wearing a smile on our faces and falling in love more and more each day.

That’s our Valentine escapade that I will cherish in my heart forever.

Happy Valentine to everyone!!!!!!!!!!

Rules of the game are as follows:

1. The tagged victim has to come up with 8 different points of their perfect lover.
2. Need to mention the sex of the target.
3. Tag 8 victims to join this game & leave a comment on their tagboard saying they’ve been tagged.
4. If tagged the 2nd time, there’s no need to post again.

Well…who else is my perfect lover other than my husband Bill? (male)

I think I got more than 8 points to make him my perfect lover and perfect husband but since you ask for 8 I am enumerating some as follows:

1.       My perfect lover is perfect to a tee.  He is a true icon of a gentleman.  When he did not have his stroke yet, he see to it that he open doors for you, offer you seats and everything a gentleman does.

2.       He speaks of frankness but always with sincerity and sympathy and when he feels that he did hurt you a bit, there is always that hug that follows which says…I am sorry.  You never have to wait for long before he gives you that gesture of remorse J.

3.       He has a genuine interest on other people because of their virtues inspite of their faults.  He respects them whoever they are and whatever they are.

4.       He’s a “cool” dad and grandpapa and a “cool” husband too.  He has a patience that’s amazing when it comes to children.  He simply love my grand daughters so much just how much he love his own.

5.       He can read minds too hehehehe….you don’t have to give him a cue to know what you want and what you like. He knows how and when to make you happy which I am … J

6.       He is practically the provider of the house and I am the budget commissioner.  He never ask you or question you because he trust me so much.  I  am keeping his trust and will keep it for the rest of our lives.

7.       He always put a smile on my face. He is really a darling and I love him so much.

8.       He makes me feel I am the most beautiful woman on earth hehehe>>>>> Is’nt it great?

So that’s it….but I still got more  and I am tagging the people below now:

Cynthia, Wilmyr, Charlene, Astrid, Bebot, Ima, Kathy and Kenotz

Today…my husband gave me a surprise. I did not know that he got a card for me when we went to the mall a week ago. He said that the words are just too perfect for what he feels towards me that he pick up the card….

Want to share it to you folks….

TO MY WIFE ON VALENTINES DAY

(You’re the person I always dreamed of loving)

I guess you could say that in some ways,
I’ve always loved you.
That doesn’t sound right, I know,
because I haven’t always known you.
But I’ve always known certain qualities
that were important to me,
and in my mind and heart, I’ve always
carried an image, a fantasy, a wish, I guess,
of a wonderful person I could love totally.
You’ve given me what I’ve always wished for:
fun and laughter,
concern and understanding,
a friend to depend on,
a lover to cherish,
a partner in everything I do.
I love you so much,
and thinking about you -
how you make me feel,
how I feel about you
and all that you are -
I realize that all my life
I’ve always loved you in my dreams.
Now that you’ve come out of my dreams
and into my life,
I can tell you that I’ve always loved you
and that I always will.

WITH ALL MY LOVE TO YOU, MY WIFE, ON VALENTINE’S DAY….

Oh ano laban kayo? hehehehe

Brave woman….

January 18th, 2006 by binglogan

Yesterday was Wednesday and Baclaran Day.  It is also Bill’s schedule for his physical and occupational therapy.  It turns out to be a success but he was having so much sore because the PT was able to lift his shoulders more than 90 degrees now.  She said her goal is to have Bills arms touch his ears and let his left hand touch the pillow without assistance.  It is too far from that yet but he is very cooperative with his therapist.  He was also given new management for his occupational therapy.  I am really looking forward for his total recovery and I would be very happy to see him bouncing back.

When we went out of the hospital and waiting for a taxi, an old woman about 60 years old sat beside me.  I was watching her..she don’t seem to be sick but as I look closely, I saw that she has a bandage in her hand.  She was asking me what happen with Bill and I told her that we are doing some therapy both physical and occupational.  She smiled and said that she is in the hospital for her chemotherapy.  I ask her what’s the trouble with her. She replied that she has lung cancer.  She said she used to work as a flight attendant for PAL and that she only stop smoking a year ago before she discovers that she has a lung cancer.  She said she has 3 big lumps on her lungs and that’s why she is undergoing chemo.  She don’t seem to be bothered at all….she takes things so easy and she can even discuss her illness without any pain in her voice.

I wonder how many people are like her. I wonder if I would be as brave as her if I am on her place.  We can’t really help to have this fear of death.  Is it maybe because we are not ready yet?  Think about it…….

Why Do Boys Gallivant Around

January 17th, 2006 by binglogan

Papa’s death anniversay…

January 14th, 2006 by binglogan

Today…January 15…feast of Sto. Nino..and also the death anniversary of my dear father. Last night we prayed at the UPI plant together with Eva, Bebot, Bert and all family members.  We roasted turkey and made adobo, spaghetti, tinolang manok, biko and so on and so forth. And of course the traditional drinking spree of my bros…and the rest of the guys.  Of course Bill is out of that… he doesn’t drink anymore.  We are going to the beach this morning…I just sit on my PC to write down my thoughts while waiting for the rest of the gang to come over and fetch us.  I am missing a lot of things really in Davao.  I could not move here just as how much I move in Davao.  But I am happy though coz I have my grand daughter here who is becoming pasaway. Gtg now….here they are and we are ready to go.
